About the Job
Join the legendary wilderness lodge and canoe outfitter in northern Minnesota and live, work, and play in the Minnesota Northwoods, just steps away from the Boundary Waters and Superior National Forest! At Gunflint Lodge & Outfitters you will provide excellent service and quality to our guests and interact with people who enjoy hospitality and luxury and who love the outdoors!
You may prepare delicious cuisine in our Northwoods restaurant, help guests unwind with a relaxing massage or help keep our cabins and grounds in picture-perfect condition. In the winter you may lead dog sled tours on a thrilling ride through the Superior National Forest or groom our 70 km of cross country ski trails by snowmobile or Piston Bulley. In any role, you will provide excellent customer service to our guests here to experience a legendary wilderness vacation. And whatever your role, you will have plenty of opportunities to canoe, camp, hike, fish, and experience the scenic beauty of Minnesota’s Northwoods.
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to fill positions in our restaurant, spa, housekeeping, and maintenance departments, as well as positions in our dog mushing program. In these positions, you will have daily contact with our resort guests, requiring a pleasant attitude and willingness to listen and answer questions.
The schedules are set for 40 hours per week with two consecutive days off. These positions are available immediately and may last year-round depending on your skills and work performance.
Although you may be hired for a specific position, there are times when you may be called upon to fulfill other job duties. In a resort atmosphere, we all pitch in wherever necessary to get the job done. With that in mind, we are looking for applicants who are extremely flexible and like a variety of work.
